This month, Wellpointe Inc. marked the opening of a new affordable senior living facility in Fresno, expanding its Fresno Guest Homes brand through a state-funded effort aimed at increasing housing capacities for vulnerable populations.
The location, which celebrated its opening on Dec. 15, was developed using grant funding awarded by the state of California to support efforts to expand adult and senior residential care for those receiving government assistance, such as Supplemental Security Income, State Supplementary Payment and Cash Assistance Programs for immigrants.
