The Chico Housing Action Team, or CHAT, has received a state grant to fund its latest housing development.
CHAT was awarded a Community Care Expansion Grant from the state of California for $16.5 million to create an affordable permanent housing development for disabled individuals either living on fixed incomes or experiencing homelessness.
